On 17 and 18 October 2025, Fondazione Casa Stradivari was invited by pianist Kit Armstrong to the Church of Sainte-Thérèse in Hirson (France) for two days dedicated to musical and violin-making excellence. The event marked the conclusion of the first Violin Making Master Program at Casa Stradivari and the world première of the newly created instruments.
Fabrizio von Arx played a key role throughout the event, both as a performer and as a transmitter of knowledge. Alongside Kit Armstrong, the Quatuor Ardeo, and musician friends of Casa Stradivari, he took part in the concerts that brought the new instruments—made by Alberto Luca Stella, Louis Marin and Francesco Panazza—to life.
He also presented the lecture “The Secrets of Stradivari”, offering the audience deep insight into the Cremonese tradition, the essential dialogue between musicians and luthiers, and the vision of Casa Stradivari, in which he is actively involved.
More than 300 years after Antonio Stradivari, these days highlighted a living heritage, where contemporary creation, artistic research and tradition come together at the heart of Europe.
